TYLER RODRIGUEZ

I’ve been coaching youth soccer for over 7 years now, and my passion has always been developing smart, confident players and not just athletes who follow instructions. I currently coach my 2017 boys team with a strong focus on decision-making, positional play, and game intelligence.

My coaching style is rooted in modern methodology. I design my sessions to build players who understand space, timing, and relationships on the field. I’m big on rondos, positional games, and constraints-based training that forces players to think, scan, and solve problems in real time.

I’m finishing my degree in Kinesiology – Sports Leadership and Management at the University of Texas at Arlington. My background helps me blend physical development with cognitive growth. I believe that coaching is more than teaching technique. It’s about creating environments where kids can grow as thinkers, decision-makers, and people.
